Housed in a custom case the Ultra X has more filtering capacity than 4X NNU SE. Our top of the range purifier gives even greater mains noise reduction, allowing you hear an impressively natural sound, with much greater dynamics and bass extension. On top of this there is much less harsh sibilance. The spike clamping fitted to this unit is our best yet to further protect from mains spikes. A 16A IEC socket has been fitted to allow you to choose any type of mains lead you like.

"I just wanted to mention that the NN Ultra X took a solid 2 weeks to reach it's best. I've been at work a lot in the last 2 weeks without any listening, so I came back with a fresh ear last night (the units over a month in use now). Now I can tell a real difference with it on vs off. Essentially, sound is more authoritative with a solid bass, greater soundstage and more relaxed feel yet still full of pace. In fact, with my subwoofer off it's quite satisfactory. With it on welcome an amazing solid, full prescence in the bass!
